This is a short version of my adult life.

My name is Jackie Reynolds and I am 55 years old. I graduated from Auburn in 1976 with a degree in elementary education. I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for 6 years while my husband went to veterinary school. We moved back to Mobile where we opened Reynolds' Veterinary Hospital. I helped my husband run the hospital for 26 years and gave up my teaching career to raise our 6 children. We had 5 girls and our last child was our only boy. It was a great life working in the hospital which was behind our home and having the children right there to share in all those great life experiences which come with helping animals and their owners. My husband and I thought our work was our ministry to mankind then suddenly that life ended when my husband passed away. I had to sell the business and decide what to do with the next 50 years of my life. After taking some time off while babysitting grandchildren I decided to renew my teaching certificate and go back to my first love of teaching.
